I Chose Laconia
That was a deliberate decision. I believe New Hampshire represents something special: communities where hard work still means something, where neighbors make their own decisions, and where personal responsibility isn't just a talking point.
As a teacher, I saw firsthand how government policies affect families, small businesses, and opportunities for young people. That experience is one of the reasons I'm running for the New Hampshire House.
I want to help keep Laconia the kind of place where families can put down roots, small businesses can succeed, and people keep more of what they earn.

When It Cost Him
In my teaching career, I've worked in public, private and charter schools. In 2021, I spoke out publicly against political indoctrination at my school and for the rights of parents.
I learned first hand how teachers unions and administration use DEI, Gender Theory, and Critical Race Theory to segregate students and manipulate their sense of identity to serve a political agenda.
I was grateful for the opportunity to spread awareness of this issue by appearing on Fox News, The Megyn Kelly Show, Tucker Carlson Tonight and the Jordan B. Peterson podcast.

Improving Education & Vocational Training
Parents — not government — should be the primary decision-makers in their children's education. I strongly support Education Freedom Accounts and school choice because funding should follow the student, not the building.

- Refocus schools on reading, writing, math, science, history and civics
- Trust teachers as professionals, cut needless mandates and paperwork
Lowering Our Tax Burden
For most families the greatest burden isn't an income tax — it's the property tax bill that arrives every year. Every dollar collected should be treated with the same care families use with their own household budget.

Reducing Energy Costs
Laconia families pay some of the highest electric bills in the country. That's not bad luck — it's pipeline bottlenecks and a regulatory system that piles mandates and surcharges onto every bill.

Creating a Healthy Housing Market
Housing costs too much for one simple reason: for decades town boards made it artificially hard to build. That's not the free market at work — it's a permission-based system that overrides property rights.

Homelessness, Addiction & Accountability
Laconia is a compassionate community — but compassion without accountability doesn't solve problems, it prolongs them. Programs should be judged by how many people reach stability and independence.

Education Is
Personal to Me
I didn't become a teacher because it was part of a career plan. I became a teacher because I discovered firsthand how education can give people purpose, confidence, and opportunity.
Those convictions eventually led me to help found the Terra Firma Teaching Alliance — a national network of educators dedicated to excellent teaching, viewpoint diversity, and real partnership between schools and parents.
Working with teachers across the country reinforced what I already knew: the best educational solutions come from empowering families, teachers, and local communities — not from one-size-fits-all mandates.

Prosperity comes from the ingenuity of individuals, families, workers, and small businesses — not from expanding bureaucracy.
When people keep more of what they earn, they have greater freedom to invest in their homes, support local businesses, save for retirement, and build stronger communities.
